At the sound of the traditional Chinese orchestral gong, guests are called to the adjacent Upper Egyptian Gallery for dinner. Your table settings and flowers share this grand gallery with statuary and art from ancient Egypt, most of it made for the pharaohs themselves. The band is placed among the dinner tables awaiting your first dance. A statue of Rameses II watches over your wedding cake. Museum Catering Company, a full service catering firm, is the exclusive caterer at the University of Pennsylvania Museum. The Museum offers a variety of venues that will accommodate large weddings up to 350 guests and more intimate gatherings of 50 or less.
Our professional sales staff can assist you with all aspects of wedding planning, including the selection of invitations, orchestras, flowers, linens and more. We welcome the opportunity to work with wedding coordinators.
